寛延元年(1748年）に宿場町のあった現在の埼玉県加須市で創業。以来、270年以上丁寧に醸す昔ながらの日本酒造りを続けています。また、「伝統の技を磨き、新たな可能性へ挑む」理念の下、近年では地元産の酒米生産を新たに始める取り組みや、個性的でユニークなお酒の開発にも力を入れています。日本酒を普段飲まない方にも飲んでもらいたいと、日々技術の研鑽に勤しみ、日本酒の可能性へ挑戦しております。
